Great little book! My 2 year old grandson practically has it memorized! He has me read it several times a day!

Bought this one and a few others in the series for my sons 1st birthday. They are a sturdy cardboard and have bright pictures just like the photos showed. He can drop them chew on them and they withstand the torture! Good product great price.

Completely agree w/ the reviewer who wrote that their are much better football concepts to rhyme about. I'm quite disappointed w/ the page for cheerleaders, so many other football concepts should have been incorporated into this book, not ridiculous info that adds no value to the game. Little Baseball is a good book for young children. Little Football is a let down, I'm considering sending it back.

Our grandson who loves all games that include balls, loved this on his 2nd birthday.

Little baseball is brilliant, funny, and appealing. Little Football is not. It's just OK. Instead of choosing touchdown, field goal, or other fun football concepts, he chose to write poems about shoulder pads and goal posts? No thanks. Buy Little Baseball instead.

My 20 month old son loves this book. I leave it in his crib with him and he looks through it before he falls asleep. The book is a sturdy board book. I plan to buy another for a nephew when he is born.

Wish there was more to this book. It is more for a 1 year old to introduce them to sports.

I've read this book 3-4 times at this point. With each reading, I find a piece of advice to pull from that feels extremely poignant to what is currently going on in my life.Irv Yalom is one of my therapy heros. While I've never met him, I find myself pulling from his advice in many different circumstances. Unlike many psychiatrists, Yalom does not pathologize. He seems to treat people like people and encourage future therapists to do so as well. As a therapist myself, when I am feeling lost, I often think "what would Yalom say about this?"I think we are in a time where despite immense progress, going to therapy is still stigmatized (even in the field). I appreciate how Yalom speaks openly about the importance of his own therapy on his progression to becoming a better therapist. I think that this book is important for anyone to read but especially for those who want to understand why therapy is so important and how healing it can be.

I am an old psychiatrist. I have been doing psychotherapy for 40 years.I treat anxiety and depression and often see couples struggling withthe complexity of living together.This book is illuminating. It is exciting and refreshing. He touches on the mostimportant points in developing the skill to help people change.He is a gifted writer and has provided a wonderful gift for anyone interestedin learning about what goes on in therapy. So, he gives advice. At his age he deserves to give something more than he has to the profession that is so much a part of one's identity. So my advice? Get it and read it, if you are a therapist or plan to be one; take it one chapter at a time if you are a client or patient - use it on your journey; humble yourself to try something new, again, better, different, old school, if you are a therapist and don't have time for anything but earning your CEU's. Take your time! Be in the here and now when you read it! Breathe deep breaths. Notice your responses to the gifts he has given and to what he has received and ask if you are giving and receiving, both, as well. Soak in Yalom's wisdom; he has written his share, and logs 30+ years of experience. Yalom's ideas are often not his own but he has a nice way of sticking in your mind; they have served me well in my own profession and journey; but ignore - even scoff - at his arrogance. All of his writing has that edge and there's so much more to focus on here.

If you are a therapist, I cannot recommend this book highly enough. In fact, I believe it should be required reading for all counselors. There are also a host of very valuable lessons for those who are seeking therapy or are interested in self-exploration in general.

This was required reading for a psychotherapy class that I took, but I would have enjoyed reading it either way. The chapters were short, the language was easy, and the writing felt very intimate. I found it infinitely interesting to hear about the experiences of someone who has practiced psychotherapy for so long, there were many things I would have never even considered - either as patient or therapist. This is definitely a book I plan to keep near by throughout the remainder of my coursework and hopefully into my own practice.

Yalom writes this book in a way that is easy to read and keeps you interested. Good read for any therapist, but especially has been helpful for someone just starting in the field.

Irvin Yalom is a prolific author, Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry at Stanford University, and at the time of writing this book had over 35 years of clinical practice.His book is essentially 85 tips for professional counselors on how to get the most out of therapy. Each tip is a chapter so you get a tip and then an explanation of the tip. “Introduction to Reconfigurable Computing” provides a comprehensive study of the field Reconfigurable Computing. It provides an entry point to the novice willing to move in the research field reconfigurable computing, FPGA and system on programmable chip design. The book can also be used as teaching reference for a graduate course in computer engineering, or as reference to advance electrical and computer engineers. It provides a very strong theoretical and practical background to the field of reconfigurable computing, from the early Estrin’s machine to the very modern architecture like coarse-grained reconfigurable device and the embedded logic devices. Apart from the introduction and the conclusion, the main chapters of the book are the following:

-Architecture of reconfigurable systems, which presents the technology and the architecture used in fine-grained and those used in coarse-grained reconfigurable devices.

-Design and implementation: This section deals with the implementation on reconfigurable system. It briefly covers the steps needed to implement application on today's FPGAs. And focus on the logic synthesis for FPGA, in particular LUT technology mapping.

-High-Level Synthesis for Reconfigurable Devices: The high-level synthesis for reconfigurable systems, also known as temporal partitioning is presented here. Several temporal partitioning techniques are presented and explained.

-Temporal placement: This section considers stand alone reconfigurable systems. Its assume that a kind of operating systems for reconfigurable systems is in charge of managing the resources of a given system and allocate space on a device for the computation of incoming tasks., and therefore presents several temporal placement approaches for off-line as well as on-line placement.

-On-line and Dynamic Interconnection: This chapter reviews and explains the different approaches for allowing communication between modules dynamically placed at run-time on a given device.

-Designing a reconfigurable application on Xilinx Virtex FPGA: In this section, the different design approaches of partial reconfigurable systems on the Xilinx FPGAs that are one of the few on the market with this feature, are explained.

-System on programmable chip: System on programmable chip is a hot topic in reconfigurable computing. This is mainly the integration of a system made upon some peripheral (UART, Ethernet, VGA, etc.), but also computational (Coding, filter, etc.) hardware modules on one programmable chip. The current usable solutions are presented: The book furthermore focuses on the development of adaptive multiprocessors on chip, i.e. systems consisting of a set of Processors and exchangeable hardware accelerators.

-Applications: This part covers the use of reconfigurable system in computer architecture (rapid prototyping, reconfigurable supercomputer, reconfigurable massively parallel computers) and algorithm better adapted for reconfigurable systems (distributed arithmetic, network packet processing, etc...).
